Omega Biotech Corporation has re­leased its newest beverage grape seed extract, Protovin™ BQ. It can be used for a variety of beverages including white wine, clear juices and pure bottled water. It is low in tannins and has less astringency than the company’s other extracts. Protovin BQ is also highly water-soluble and requires no special considerations to incorporate it into the manufacturing process or beverage. Most important, it does not change the taste of the beverage or influence its color or clarity when added in the recommended amounts.
